Your brains are safe for now...

maybe. Unless this is like in the movies when the victim rallies right before they die, then lurch back to life jaws a'snapp'n.

I seem to be recovering nicely from my brush with death. I know you were all deeply concerned.

I was quite worried because this Saturday is NKOTB Saturday. There will be unhealthy food, numerous cocktails, and ridiculous girlish shenanigans. I need to be at full Quiana power to handle this kind of excitement. Wait for pix! Teehee. Yay!

In other news I watched The Quantum of Solace, which I really liked. You should watch it too. Going to the movies yesterday made me just as exhausted as working for 8 hours today, which either says that I am recovering well OR that work is just butt-sitting.

Where was I going with this?

No idea whatsoever.

Recap:
1. Not dead.
2. NKOTB!
3. 007= good times.

And that was my awesome story about uhm... nothing.

I was going to see the Bond movie, but then I saw the Swedish vampire flick instead. I'm not sad about it either! Call me a jerk, but I liked the old, campy Bond movies. Daniel Craig is cool and all, but they've turned the series into real action movies. It's all Bourne Ultimatum now. I miss Roger Moore.

But glad you liked it, I'm sure I will see it and enjoy it despite my lukewarm feelings.

NKOTB!

Swedish vampire flicks seem pretty good too.

That is making me think of Sven (the Architecture Collective on How I Met Your Mother last night.)

Kind of awesome.

You must be sick...

I felt that QoS was a HUGE letdown and not something I would recommend or have any desire to see again.

Yes, but you never like anything so your opinion is not valid.

HA HA HA!! Touche!
Good one Q!

I liked QoS and I'm having a hard time not talking about it at home, as Hotness didn't get to go see it with me opening night. (She had the 'zombie death virus')

We're planning on seeing together this weekend hopefully.

You have excellent revisionist memory. I still like you though.

Just because I have the mutant power to find fault in anything and I feel that critical thinking is a sign of intelligence does not mean that I did not enjoy a film. So disagreeing with my fellow film goers that Wall-E and Tropic Thunder were the greatest movies of my life time does not mean I did not feel that I more than got my money's worth. I am actually quite looking forward to watching Wall-E when I am not nodding off.

Plus I can't believe I left Speed Racer off of my re-watch and recommend list.

On a side note: It is awesome to have the return of semi-regular updates to the SUC. You need to talk to Friday about ramping Geeked backup when you see her this weekend.

Being critical should not be confused with critical thinking. Being smart is nice, but having fun and being smart is nicer.

Will definitely bother Friday. I have been totally missing her!

Also Wall-E almost made me cry. Almost.
